Father's Day

Fathers Day  is just around the corner. When I was home I was able to make a few cards. However, My computer acted up and my husband had to reset it back  to a working day, so I lost my pictures. I do have one on my phone that I will post, but the picture is not the best. Sorry! Currently, I am in CA, heading to Reno then IN.. So I wont be home anytime soon to get more pictures. This was a easy card to put together.. I used Real red and aluminum foil to make it look like metal on a tool box, along with the SU embossing plate. The drawers I added a thin piece whisper white  paper on the top of the rectangle Real red. I cut out tools and added them to the bottom. I used the Stampin up Word window Punch (119857) on the bottom of the card to make it have legs!

Faux Patina Technique

So today we didn't have to drive and I had time to look around at other blog's. I love doing this, what a great way to see all the talent out there! Plus, its a great way to learn more techniques. Bleaching technique

Welcome back to my get a way place while on the road working.. First I want to say Happy Mother's Day to all the mom! I hope everyone has a beautiful day.  Today as I was looking for a new idea I found a few technique's using bleach that I though added a cute touch to your personal creations! The first one is Bleaching with Dawn on YouTube and the second technique is on Paper Imagery Designs. I hope you enjoy this tip. I found an Awesome Idea and I had to Share it!

 I only have a few minutes to share this with you. we left GA, now we are in SC heading to KY.  I found a blog by Sherahl Weadon another talented Stampin Up Demonstrator! She shows how to make "The Perfect Bow Maker"  I can not wait to get home to make one for myself!  I put her blog address below so you can see how to make it.
